The (Marquis de) Lafayette is located in the heart of Lancaster’s historic district and a block to Musser Park. This one bedroom, upper floor flat is a short walk to all that downtown has to offer. Lancaster’s historic district is known for it’s colonial architecture and tree-lined streets that provide travelers with a portal into America’s past. The home is close to the city’s best breweries, dining, shops and more, and has one off street parking space for added convenience.
Built in 1794, the Lafayette is a spacious, downtown apartment home overlooking one of Lancaster’s most prestigious, private city gardens. The space hints to a past when things were simpler while highlighting the creature comforts one demands of today’s modern spaces. The bedroom fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere during cooler nights, and the bed and high quality linens ensure a peaceful night’s rest. The home is equipped with a smart tv and Xfinity high speed internet to provide travelers the assurance of staying connected. The shared outdoor area allows guests to interact with other travelers, yet equally provides plenty of space for a more intimate travel experience. The home is filled with morning light throughout and offers enough space for four guests to enjoy comfortably. The home is professionally cleaned and cared for, and our team is readily available to ensure your experience in staying with us is the absolute very best.
The Lafayette entrance is easily accessed by parking in the rear of the home located at 133 E. Marion St. (See check-in link). The third parking space from Marion St. is reserved for this home. Once parked, enter through the iron gate to the right of the garage, and follow the path through the yard and up the stairs just past the fire pit. All areas of the home are secure and have outdoor security cameras. The entrance to the Lafayette is private and the laundry room and rear outdoor space is shared with other apartment homes on the premise. The laundry area is accessible from the exterior of the home by following the path under the stairs to the door next to the trash & recycling area.
Our team is available through the Airbnb app or phone, and our service team is in the neighborhood should you need assistance during your stay.

The city is inter-connected by rivers, parks, and side alleyways that are sure to leave a lasting impression. For those looking to travel by car, you’ll appreciate the lack of traffic often found in larger metropolitan cities. If you take a car, be mindful of our local horse carriages and buggies often found traveling throughout our community and back-country roads.
