The ‘Globo de Hércules’ pays homage to Lancaster’s father and son team of balloonists, John and Charles Wise. Together, they launched their ascensions from the southwest corner of Lime & Orange Streets, as well as the town’s square, while wowing the public and capturing the hearts of travelers afar. The home depicts a bygone era of Lancaster’s historic past, while providing todays visitors an easy walk to the best shops, restaurants, breweries, theaters, and the Lancaster Convention Center!

The apartment home’s entrance is easily accessed from S. Lime St. (See check-in link). Enter through the rear fence gate and follow the stairs to the second floor. All areas of the home are secure and have outdoor security cameras. The included off-street parking space is accessed from the alley behind the home off of Church St.

For those looking to travel by car, you’ll appreciate the lack of traffic often found in larger metropolitan cities. If you take a car, be mindful of our local horse carriages and buggies often found traveling in our community and back-country roads.
